On Monday, students at Langston Hughes celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by participating in Read Across America. For this special event, many guest readers were kind enough to volunteer their time by coming in and reading to our 23 classes. Our students enjoyed celebrating and participating in this special day. A big thank you to all of the school board members, tosas, and district personnel and administrators that came in to read! You made Read Across America an amazing event for all of our classes! Mrs. Heider and Miss Lohrenz's kinder classes also participated in a week long unit of activities where students completed various math, language arts, and creation stations based on various books by Dr. Seuss. Students had a great time!
