This year's theme for National Library Week is "Libraries Transform". Our approach to this year's theme was the fact that books can transform you you to different times and places as a reader. With this in mind, we set up five reading transformation stations: Country Life, Make Believe, Up Up and Away, In the Bleachers, and Time Machine. Grades K, 1, 2, and 3 rotated through each of our five stations and received a hole punch in their Libraries Transform Passport as they read at each of them. Our 4th and 5th grade Bobcats were able to travel to transformation stations they thought might be of the most interest to them in order to spend time reading books they might enjoy most. Take a look below to learn more about our transformation stations. | Here's our Libraries Transform Passports! |
