This week, Kinders began "Letter Stations" during their long library lesson. Letter Stations have been designed in effort to reinforce letters previously focused on through the Kindergarten Reading Street curriculum. During each station, students must first watch and listen to a story which emphasizes that letter, in addition to a corresponding song. After viewing both, students then have an individual choice to draw, write, or read for that particular letter. This week, Kinders completed Letter Stations for A, B, C, and D. Please know that all of our weekly videos for Letter Stations can be accessed through Blackboard, but under Library Mrs. Williams (not your child's teacher) when you click on CLASSES at the top right. |
