This week, our Kinder Stars wrapped up their Mo Willems unit. During this time, students explored Elephant and Piggie books and made an Elephant or Piggie puppet. They also experienced various Pigeon books and created their own Pigeon paintings. We finished with Knuffle Bunny to talk about setting and characters. Students created their own replica of the book by selecting a favorite spot here at school to serve as their black and white photograph background with a cartoon (and colorful) version of themselves as the character. Along the way, students also had the change to read aloud with our Mo Willems stuffed book buddies.
