- we should be quiet around books and babies
- we need to hold books and babies carefully, with two arms
- we should not leave books or babies on the floor where they could get hurt
- we only hold books and babies when our hands are clean and dry
- we do not eat or drink when holding books or babies
These past two weeks, our Kinder Stars have been learning how to be kind to our books with the idea that "Books are like Babies". Last week during their first (ever) Langston Hughes library visit, we spent our time talking about how books are just like babies using a doll and other various props.
