They called it! Our primary students sure know a good book when they hear one. After listening to many of this year's Bill Martin Jr. Award Nominees as read alouds, our kinders, firsties, and second graders chose The Day the Crayons Quit as their favorite and our building's vote. It turns out that many others in the state of Kansas also agree with our primary friends, as the Kansas Reading Association (KRA) has officially announced The Day the Crayons Quit the winner of the 2015 award..
