Our 2nd graders are well on their way to finding fiction!
During this initial round of lessons, 2nd graders are reviewing key parts of a book and spending a lot of time on spine labels. Why you ask? Spine labels tell us where all of our library books "live" in the Learning Commons! For fiction books in particular, this means being able to identify and locate books according to the first three letters of the author's last name. 2nd graders have been spending their monthly library lesson practicing their ABC order skills in three different ways: Our 2nd graders are well on their way to finding fiction!
