These past two weeks, our youngest Bobcats have practiced identifying characters and setting through three different activities. One station was a setting and character sort where students cut out various pictures, sorting them accordingly. As part of their second station, Kinders watched a video book called T is for Terrible and had to then either write or draw the main character and setting for the book. Groups that had time also practiced listening for new facts through a nonfiction book called Dinosaur Teeth. Our final station was this trimester's technology project. Kinders used an app called PuppetPalsHD and selected three characters and one setting to be part of their "story". Then, students recorded themselves sharing their selections. These projects can be viewed through the link below!
