After becoming zookeepers on their trip to the Kansas City Zoo, students worked to identify various animals within the desert, grassland, ocean, and wetland ecosystems. Upon their return, these zookeepers learned all about one particular animal within a specific ecosystem for their written report, with information including what they look like, what/how they eat, and why they live in their ecosystem - after all, zookeepers need to know lots about the animals they work with! In order to share their information using technology, students elected their five favorite facts they learned and created a picture of their animal. Using an app called Chatterkid, student illustrations came to life! We hope you enjoy the ecosystem videos through the link below!
