Well, our primary classes have voted again this year for the Bill Martin Jr. Award. Unlike last year, our class votes were spread out across a variety of the nominees. This year's Langston Hughes winner that we'll officially submit is Donzer's Run: A True Story of a Dog and His Race by Debbie Levy and Rosana Panza. No Pirates Allowed? Said Library Lou by Rhonda Growler Greene was a very close second. Class votes were also cast for Count the Monkeys, as well as Kid Sherrif and the Terrible Toads. Thanks to all of our primary classes for participating this year! |
